Presidents Report: Aaron Kenney

• Middle of semester what would the club like to see more of?  Trips/ Speakers?
• Fundraisers needed

Vice President Report: Herbert Hernandez

• Discussed printing t-shirts, pricing $7-10 per shirt
• Club voted to allocate $150 towards purchasing 20 tee shirts, with members having the option to buy additional ones.
• Print Telecom Club banner, need to find out prices – 10/21 deadline
• Talked to Pro Tech Comm club about logo design, the club opted to save money and do the logo design in house, set 10/21 dead line for logo submissions.
• Spoke about ISSP - HIPAA discussion
• Talked about inviting a speaker to discuss Sarbanes-Oxley
• Talked about long term planning needed for Nortel trip in the spring semester.

• The club has an estimated $477.79 left in its account
  • $887.79 starting balance
  • -$60 allocated for pizza party
  • -$350 allocated for SIAC trip

• Will contact telecom faculty this week for thesis abstracts

• Open discussion about upcoming buzz ideas

  • Department timeline information
  • Dr. Newman state wireless appointment
