The club is all set
to visit Nortel, Canada.

It has been decided
that $500 would be drawn out of the club funds towards living cost
in Canada. The check to be drawn out in the name of Dr. Eugene
Newman.

It was voted that the
logo design contest would be tabled until next semester.
Vice
President’s Report: Aaron Kenney

Brochures should be
printed about the Telecom Club to distribute during the freshmen
orientation for the summer.

Herbert and Eric will develop brochures and report back to the club.
Treasurer’s Report: Eric Sinclair

The club will have $400 remaining after the Nortel Trip.

Constitution Committee:

Copies of the
constitution were distributed.

very good response to the guest lecture by Joanne Bawa

more effective promotion needs to be done.

The club discussed potential future projects and costs involved.

It was suggested that
the treasurer request additional funds from the CFB.

A preliminary budget was
discussed for future events.

The club unanimously voted to use $60 for a pizza party on April
29th to recruit new members.
