Call to Order

order the meeting at 12:04PM in the ISET conference room.

Trip to MCI Network Operations
Center
-
The Nortel trip has
been cancelled due to lack of response from authorities in Nortel.

Instead, a trip to
MCI Networks Operation Center, Washington DC, was discussed.

The budget for the
trip to be discussed.
VoIP Talk
-
There will be a
presentation on VoIP arranged by the CS club. The president, Aashish
Sharma has contacted the CS club for more details but has not yet
received a reply.
Vice President’s Report: Aaron
Kenney
Adoption of a local highway:
-
Vice-President,
Aaron Kenney, spoke with Oneida County DOT rep’s secretary a few
times, but was unable to get hold of the person in charge.
Constitution Committee:
-
The amended articles
of the constitution were discussed and changes were agreed upon.

The committee to
present all changes at the next meeting.
Advisor’s Address: Dr. Kevin
Lefebvre

Dr. Lefebvre and Dr.
Fitzgibbons are working to obtain a badge swipe for the Telecom
office.
Open Forum:
-
John Marsh from Rome
Labs has been invited to give a guest lecture. The topic of his
lecture is to be decided.

The flyers for
Joanne Bawa’s lecture on the 19th of April must be put up
in the campus as soon as possible.
-
The club has decided
that $150 for refreshments during Joanne Bawa’s lecture is too
costly. Refreshments will be bought instead of ordered.
-
The new bulletin
board for the telecom Club has been put up. Herbert and Aaron are
working on the design. Only Telecom related notices, fliers etc to
be allowed on the bulletin board.

Herbert is working
on the list serve for the Telecom Club .
