50-50 Fund
raiser
-
The 50-50 raffle
was decided upon as a fund raiser in the last meeting. Committees
were formed and the fund raiser is on target as planned.
-
Ideas were
discussed as to how the money, raised by the 50-50 raffle, was to be
utilized. It was proposed that refreshments should be offered to
draw people to the meetings.
Club Funding:
-
Attempts were
made to determine the amount of club funds. But the student
association has not released the updated information as yet.
-
Concerns were
also raised about the continued absence and lack of contribution of
the club Treasurer. Due to other commitments, Ms. Fernandes may not
be able to regularly attend meetings. It was proposed that another
club member take up the post of the Treasurer.
-
Meeting
Minutes:
It was determined
that the meeting minutes have not been sent to the CFB treasurer Mr.
Ken Lawson, without which the club assets may be frozen. Secretary to
act accordingly. It was also decided that the minutes must be approved
by the members at every meeting and posted on the telecom website.
